We supported King’s College London drive growth across their e-commerce, social and email channels.  

CRO / Audience Analysis:

The team conducted a heuristic audit followed by a design thinking workshop and focus groups to understand student behaviour.

Coupled with heatmaps and deep dive into the analytics, the site was optimised to boost conversions and order values.

Drive Traffic & Assortment Experience:

Instagram reels, UGC and give away competitions were created to drive engagement and drive email collection ahead of Black Friday. This was mirrored on campus to create a cohesive on and offline experience.

Bundles were optimised with a new recommendation engine implemented to boost basket value.

Build Repeat Purchases:

Existing emails were segmented based on RFM analysis to identify high value and lapsing customers with dedicated messaging for each group.

Email flows were also built for automated welcome, abandoned cart and post purchase sequences.

These were the results we saw:

KCLSU saw record online sales performance and a large increase in emails collected resulting from a 2% conversion increase from the email pop up. Specifically:
